Do I have to install anything?
Yes, depending on your platform:
- Topstep, Tradovate and Tradovate prop firms: a simple Chrome extension to install from your Trading Optimizer account.
- MetaTrader 5: an Expert Advisor to import into MT5 (detailed tutorial provided).
Installation takes a few minutes.
My platform isn't listed, can I still use it?
We add new platforms regularly based on user requests. If your platform isn't listed, contact us: we'll review the technical feasibility and keep you informed.
Is the integration secure?
Yes. The Chrome extension and the MT5 Expert Advisor only send your trade data (symbol, price, P&L, date) to your Trading Optimizer account. They never have access to your trading credentials or to your execution capabilities.
Does it work in real time?
Yes. As soon as a trade is closed on your platform, it appears in your Trading Optimizer journal within seconds.
